No, never. I hate jail. But if your said accident happens for me. Then obviously i shall run to the nearest police station bcoz here in my locality public anger is more dangerous than anything. U may die for public attack. And no chance for a jail if u were not doing anything that traffic rules never permit. U must bear the compensation and your insurance co. Will provide it.

Depending on the severity of the crime, i committed.. lol =D If it's nothing serious, i will not surrender myself.. Just like, i pick up something which is not mine, and i will keep it.. haha =D Is that a crime?? BUt if i were to knock down somebody, i will be sure to send them to the hospital, and by then, there will be police coming to take statements etc, which is a way of surrendering too?? haha

haha =D So if i knock down someone, it's not a crime too, since they are responsible for their actions of crossing the road or jay walking?? lol =D

Yeah, i will take my responsbilty of what i have done, even been arrested. If i donot tell the ture, my heart will be worried. That is more painful than in the jail.

sticking to the facts without elaborating the issue, first, i will check the premise whether it is wise for me to get out of rhe car and bring the woman inside my car then drive straight to the hospital. will wholeheartedly apologize to the woman and answer the hospital bills hoping the she gets better and will not sue me for reckless imprudence. if the first scenario doesn't work, taking into consideration the rage of relatives at scene, i will go straight to the nearest police station and report the incident, so that the police may come to immediate rescue, call the assistance of a lawyer and be ready for any suit that may be filed against me but will still check the lady after people's impulsive anger have been pacified and hoping that the lady grts better and will just ask for the hospital bills. :)

but of course as to the first and second scenarios, the medical assistance of the lady is the priority. unfortunately, in reality, we dont have rescue 911 in the country so expect ordinary people to do that most of the time. :)

in that place where i taken away the life of another person i say yes i would gladly surrender. even if i get imprisoned for seventy years i wont complain. especially if my girlfriend does not love me? its better to live in prison than to be with a girl who does not adequately me. makes more sense to me.

They won't arrest you, but only if you try to get away, you ran over her, you resist arrest, etc.

Hello acie! Though mine is not a criminal mind, if unfortunately it occurs I would say that you are not termed as 'criminal' till it is proved in the Court of Law. If if one surrenders, the Police or the concerned authorities need to prove in the Court of Law that the fellow was guilty.

WEll this is a tricky one but i think that i will not surrender myself for such a small act of crime ... anyways when one commits a serious crime its not by accident but by a well planned action so there is no point in surrendering after doing so much hardwork is there .

well if i did hit an old lady by accident i would stop and make sure she was ok, because by driving off its a sure thing you are going to jail. but other things it depend what ive done. something i wouldnt turn myself in for. kind of silly.

hi dear .. depending on the incident that happens, like in this case i would try to help the person and at the same time contact my husband for his advise .. similary .. if anything happens i will call him or some lawyer friends for their recommendation before moving into the next step .. jail term or no jail term all depends on the seriousness of the incident and my lawyers intelligence cheers

I really don't know. I hope i would, and I won't panic and just run. I mean, I have to be responsible for my actions right? But when I am in the actual situation, I'm not really sure what would I do, and what would I be thinking when it happens.

To give a completely honest answer, it would depend on the situation. What I mean is that if it was a crime that I had committed, but I had not intended to commit said crime, then I would turn myself in for it. However, if there was a crime that I had committed with the intention of committing a crime, then I would definitely not turn myself in, I would follow through with whatever plan I had in my mind to keep from being caught for committing the crime.

If I accidently hit someone in a cross walk I would stay there and wait for the police and make sure this lady was alright. If you take off that is hit and run a more serious crime. The police would investigate and if it was a accident that couldn't be avoided there would be no charges filed. I also couldn't live with myself wondering what had happened to the person who was hit if I just took off. You will be caught especially if there are witnesses who see the whole thing. Life on the run is no way to live you are always looking over your shoulder until you are caught. It only gets worse from that point on. Very hard to find someone innocent when they are running from the law.

i'm not sure what i would do, if i was going to really like suffer for it id run away aha, but if not i'd just ring the police etcetc and try to help:)
