Thankfully I have not had this experience. I can only imagine how bad it was. And I have come close to witnessing one, maybe even getting involved in one. There were times where I just missed a car accident by about ten or fifteen minutes. So close, too close for my liking but thankfully I have not had been directly near one of them.
As for what I would do if I would see one, I would contact the appropriate people to deal with it. I am not trained to deal with it. Therefore, as much as I would like to help, I fear that I would make it ten times worse. Therefore, as notable as my sentiments might be to help, it would be much better off if I would leave it the professionals.

the first thing i will do is see an accident or car crash is just go and help those who are struck in the vehicle and will call the ambulance . and if some one is injured i will just do some first aid as i was in the red cross in my school i jnow some first aid . and then if its an emergency i may try to arrange some vehicles to take them to the hospital instead of waiting for the ambulance .

Well, I have worked in the ambulance service for about 13 years as a paramedic firefighter. I obviously have responded to a lot of emergencies during my work. Now, I am no longer connected with the unit but still I conduct training on emergency care. There were instances that I have witnessed accidents and emergencies and never hesitated in providing care despite not working with rescue anymore. I guess its in my blood already. Well, should I witnessed another one, I would surely be willing to extend my assistance again.

In our country whoever inasmsuch as is seen near the site is taken as witness and that leads to a harrowing experience which many avoid though many would want to help. I would perhaps ring up the ambulance from a distance.

hi! till now i have seen a car accident only twice in my lifetime, and the first time i just passed by because the police was already there and it didn't looked that bad, but the second time I stopped and went out of the car, not because trying to help, but because I was too curious to see what has happened. well, don't understand me wrong, when I am saying "not because trying to help", i said it because the police and the ambulance were there, but the road was blocked and it looked like something big, but when i reached there the policemen chased me away!
