In 2 Corinthians 13:1 and in Deuteronomy 17:6, it says that "in the mouth of two or more witnesses my word shall be established". Does it mean that we still need another book aside from the bible? All religion use the bible to prove that they are the true church of God, since all of them use the bible, does it mean all the religion are true?

Other books are not needed, bible is enough to know the words of God but we need books for other matters like in engineering, cooking, etc for our daily activity. When you read the bible, there is a passage and say, you can be saved by your faith not by your religion. Be wise in choosing religion because many false prophet will rise.

What if God will give us another book, are we going to complain to Him for giving us more of His words? You are right about being saved with our faith not by our religion but what if what you believed in as a part of your faith is not the one that you are suppose to have then that would really be unfair in your part, right? And thank you for telling me about false prophets, I really think there are really a lot of them these days.

many churches now claimed to be the only true church, but in action you can't find them applying even the basic doctrines and teachings of the bible. they only select scriptures to fit their church doctrines. other books are inspiration book aside from the bible, just be sure, the other book agrees to the teachings and doctrines of the bible and it does not contradict the bible. i believe that churches are like branches of one tree, one fruitful, one colroful and beautiful, one healthy and looks nice and some no fruit at all, some needs to be cut down because they're rotten. Religion divides believers. and religion can't save anyone to heaven. it does only guide one person to strengthen his/her faith to God.

If it is a part of the word of God then of course it should not contradict with the teachings of the bible. It should be something that will enhance the teachings of the bible and not to prove it wrong. It is true that no religion can save us but we should find the religion that will help us find our way back to God.

"The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings; they are given by one Shepherd. Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body." Ecclesiates 12:11-12 Whether we need another book, you can be sure that someone will write one, so perhaps there is a need ... to explain and expand upon what is already written. Not all religions (by any means) use the Bible to prove that they are the 'true church of God'. Islam uses the Q'ran, Sikhs use the Grant Sahib and others have their own holy books. As a bookseller, of course, I would not discourage anyone who feels the need from writing yet another book but, as a man of spirit, I find that 'that of God' in me and in others is where the Truth is really to be found.

I always think we need another book that will help us understand the gospel of God. It is necessary but the person who's going to write a book about God should also be the same as the bible. Written by a prophet of God, someone by whom God entrusted to write a book about His true gospel. There should be proper authority too. We cant rely on the precepts of man because they could be misleading. If the book has something to do with God and His teachings then the one who should write it is a prophet of God.

All religion use the bible All religions or spiritual paths DO NOT use the bible in fact there are many out there that dont believe in the bible or god for that matter...and one need not follow a religion or spiritual path that DOES believe in the bible or god for their choice to be true...THEY ALL ARE..to each person who follows/believes in them...I dont believe in the bible or god but that doesnt make my spiritual path any less valid or true than anyone elses..

That's interesting, what do you use then to improve in your spirituality then? What are your references? Do read other materials that will help you grow when it comes to your spirituality? What are they?

Since many religions now a days arising with many books done by them and many verses of the bible crooked by some preachers, then another book must be open to prove what the real truth is. For me not all religions are true. There is only one true religion stated in the bible.

I also believe that there's only one true church of God in the world today. But there are so many religions already how are we going to know which one is right? I think it also have to do something with references that we should have to prove something by using other sources. God wants us to understand His words and He will always help us to that. God will provide means for us to understand His teachings so it is possible to have another book from Him. Another testament about Jesus Christ.

Bible enriches the human spirit and the other books enriches your mind. These both are inseparable because like the anatomy of human being we can live normally with the heart (spirit) and brain (mind).

Good point of view. There are actually a lot of inspiring books available in the bookstores these days. I think there are also other books comparable to the bible, words of God that we can learn from. God wants us to understand His words fully so I guess He will always find a way for us to be able to do that.
