Yea, there are a lot of deductions that could be missed when doing them for yourself when you are self-employed. Better to be on the safe side in that situation. Thanks so much for your response and I hope you have a great day!

That would be nice if your employer just did them...no worries. :)

I have my taxes prepared for me, I wouldn't know the first thing about doing my own taxes.

I have them prepared by H & R Block. I don't trust myself even though I pretty well have them figured out by the time I get to the office. I just don't want to end up losing money or getting them wrong and having to pay back money. What is the best way to be sure for yourself they are right?

I just check and double check. Sometimes I will use two different programs and if they both come up with the same number then I probably did them right...lol.

I usually have mine done by someone else. I have done them myself and my Dad has done them before too.

My taxes are always prepared by a professional. If it is wrong it is their fault not mine and they pay the penalty.

I am the "someone else" who prepares taxes for others so I do my own taxes. I make my living from filing tax returns all year.

Yea, that would seem kinda weird if you did other people's taxes all year and then didn't do your own...lol. Thanks so much for your response and I hope you have a great day!

Always do my own taxes. Simply lock myself in the room and spend all day doing the research and filling out all of the forms.

Yea, I do my own and my parents...I started years ago after I came up with the same numbers the professionals did...I was like "and what am I paying them for?"...lol. Thanks so much for your response and I hope you have a great day!
