pinoys are active online: freelancing, blogging, article writing online, facebook, ym and even, the world of mylot. There's even a "Philippine" interest from mylot unlike the other country, and the need for a pinoy version of mylot is in demand, I am one of those,it is for us to express our ideas through our national lang. and be involve to the different issues our country now is facing of aside from earning from the conversation we had made, Is it possible?

That's nice. It can help us meet more Filipinos around the globe. I'm up for this.

Why not? but if ever there will be it's going to be very hard to maintain because of the traffic. As you can see, Philippines maybe on top three as far as mylot membership is concerned but it pales in comparison to the US and Indian members. Although there may be Filipino members here that did not disclose Philippines as their address there is high likelihood that they are composed of a few hundred. I already come across some forums where members use Filipino language but i don't like it in general because of the following reasons. Filipinos, especially the younger ones keep using the SMS type messages in their conversations which to me is very annoying. It might be sign of me getting older but i really don't like people using short cuts since they all have the time in the world to write the entire sentence. Unless of course, they are not good in spellings. So far, mylot is still the best. It's a good thing that we have a "Philippines" interest here but we should discuss everything that we feel like discussing in english not only because that's the rule but out of respect to those who may come across our discussions.

By the way if we really want to use our own language here, it's still OK as long as you send those messages in private.

hi lienrose, I also observed that there are lot of pinoy here in mylot, when I started again and is active in discussion I personalize my homepage and put philippines visible for per topic interest.. I checked time by time topics from the philippines. FIlipino part time online earners are growing.. this is in response to our low salary wage rate lol

I don't think we'll be earning money if we'll prefer our own language but your idea is good but it's not possible.

If perhaps other people who speaks German, or Chinese would be allowed to have mylot in their respective languages , we might also have Filipino writeups

It is nice if we have our own version of mylot. We can use our own language and many Filipinos going to participate. If they going to fund it and invest in developing our own social networking site like this one.

Hello Lien, You know i used to think that i f i had more money than am supposed to then i could invest to that site and have one of my own here in our country. but come to think of it, if Philippines is experiencing real financial troubles now and lack of investments i don't think it's possible to have another branch of mylot in this country. i believe mylot is already for the world, and if you just want the pinoy version, i don't think it can be that exciting anymore since we are prone to say bad words or have violent reactions.

That sounds great! Nice idea... I also enjoy receiving responses from other people from different countries. But it's different when it comes to PINOY... I'm satisfied now but it would be cool if we have that kind of version.

I can agree to your idea of pinoy mylot in some way. However, if we only talk to ourselves our english will not improve as we have the same filipino kind of english. But yes we can communicate with fellow filipinos right now even if theres no pinoy mylot yet. As of now I am enjoying that not only a filipino answer to my discussion but from around the world. I found their ideas unique and valuable and would have regretted it if they weren't able to respond to discussion and let me know.

Yes it is possible, and I think sulit is starting out but unlike mylot there is no earning, only credit without monetary value and not convertable to cash. My view with that, if we use our national language, participant shall be limited, only those who understand tagalog.
