First time Dad / myLot

I had a little girl four months ago and boy I cannot explain the feeling that I got from her birth. Any guys out there found a way to put this feeling into words yet? I just have not yet. My little brother asked me once how it felt and I just couldn't come up with anything that would compair to the feelings that I had in my heart for that little girl of mine.

I can't claim to be able to put the feeling into words because I have no children of my own (yet). But CONGRATULATIONS on a very beautiful baby :)

I am not a dad , but i am a first time Grandma, I think tho I kind of know what you mean about the feelings.I cant really put into words just what it is,protective,deeply in love , a mixture of indescribable feelings.

I don't have kids myself, but my friends and colleagues who does, tell me that the simply can't put into word the joy & happiness the kids have brought them. Can I say it's a sense of fulfilment? Then again, the one thing they will not have for a long time enough sleep!! *LOL* Anyway, congratulations to you. The girl is beautiful!
