Why is that I feel drowsy on afternoon weekdays(during work) but I don't feel so on weekends?

Maybe you are so boring during work on weekdays, that's why you feel drowsy. Take a 5-minute break when you feel drowsy, it helps a bit.

It's because you are bored with work and you need to do something fun and exciting to get your mind off of things that make you really bored. I know I feel the same way everyday when I don't do anything fun or anything that really makes me busy. And normally I always end up sleeping or taking a long nap and waste most of my time during day time.

If feel the same way. Right after lunch I could sleep for an hour. In fact, at work we have a lunch room. I eat my lunch and sometimes fall nap at the table. I think maybe your body puts energy into digesting your food and sleep is maybe the result.

It may be from bordem or lack of excitement. Or if you have a stressful job it can take a toll on your immune system and make you feel tired as well. Plus, most people sleep in a little more on the weekends and relax where you don't get to do that during the week so your sleepy.
