how dos the facebook marketplace thing work?

i sell stuff on bonanzle but i was thinking about listing it on facebook how i do on craigslist to where there is the ad but if you want to buy you have to go to my site. ive never dealt with facebook and i played for a few minutes and it looked like it had to be dealt and sold through there or person to person through there and no one was sending them to other sites.. is that true? are there rules to where i couldnt post my items then have a link to where im selling them? i looked at the faq and they were worthless sigh! unfortunately i have absolutely no time to look through a ton of things on there so i was hoping if some one here has ANY experience there and knows the answer to this question they would let me know.. so do you have to sell through facebook or can you post at the marketplace with a link to buy elsewhere?
