What uses have you used Vaseline for? I have heard if you have very dry cracked skin if you rub yur hands with Vaseline and put mittens over them and wear that to bed when you wake up your hands will be very soft. Have you ever tried this? I should try it because after cleaning all day and doing dishes my hands gets soo dry and cracked until they bleed. It hurts really bad. I know that some people use Vaseline as a personal lubricant instead of K-Y jelly. When my daughter was little and we used cloth diapers on her we coated her bottom with Vaseline after her baths to keep the urine from bothering her skin. My mother told me to do that and so I just assumed since she used cloth diapers she knew that was what you had to do. Her cloth diaper covers would ruin so fast. When I had my son I read up on it and you are not supposed to use Vaseline on diaper rash products with the cloth diaper covers because it makes the waterproofing break down and then the covers will leak. His skin is just as good without using the vaseline so I guess it wasent necessary after all.
