What will you do if you are 16 and yet you still look like a 12 year old girl?

haha. i know this is kind of weird question but i really want to know. what will you do if you're 16 and people around you are like expecting you to look more mature than you are. and they tell you you look like a little girl, that's soo irritating! isn't it?! what will you do? put a lot of make up? dress like old women or what? :O

Well i have the same problem i am 17 and get mistaken for a 12 year old.. I say just dress more mature wear a little bit of make-up not too much though...

I used to let that question bother me a lot when I was 16. People would look at me back then and I could pass for a elementary school kid. I remember trying to get my hair done a lot more often and wear more age appropriate clothing but unfortunately I had the curse of the young face and build. So now here I am at 26 and many people think I am freshman in college or senior year of high school. Take it as a compliment because the older you get, you appreciate it more.

yes. when i'm older maybe i'll appreciate it. i thought of that too. but right now, it's kind of annoying because my mother compares me to a lot of girls. thanks for posting. :)

i used to have that problem and still havent the gotten to where i look my age yet lol.. i know as annoying as it is at the time (and embarrassing) you will like it later on (if you always look younger) think of all those people getting plastic surgery because they look older than they are!! my experience really sucked because i got married at 17 and looked 15 so people thought my husband was a perv and he was only 19! took me for every before i started to look legal.. i think maybe around 21-23 i started to look 18 lol.. i am 28 and STILL get carded everywhere but now it doesnt bother me as much because i look at some people my age or younger and they look like they are 10 years older than me so im hoping ill keep it up and never need to have work done to look youthful!
oh and i tried dressing older when i was a teen but it never worked.. it backfired to where they thought i was even younger trying to get away with passing as a certain age!
