Hello My looters! Many people love to sing, I also like too. But have you ever tried to sing on stage? Have you participated in concerts, events? Before few years i have tried to sing on little stage, it was a school concert. But i haven't tried to sing on big concerts, or on town concerts. I'm not a such singer, how about you?

Me neither, but there are many occasions where I've to take part in singing and I can assure you the one in which I take part is the more difficult than singing on stage. It's when both my wife go out giving the responsibility to take care of the baby to me.When the baby starts crying for a song she does expect out of me,I start with the most weird voice I've ever heard and as a result she stops crying getting afraid of the horrible consequences of prolonged listening to the ghastly notes.

It is very difficult to stop baby crying song. And take car with baby is not easier job. I wish to you all the best, and if you have a free time just sing, sing to your baby.

I love singing too. I have always wanted to try singing in front of the class but I was afraid because I was singing songs of another language. I am Filipino and I love Japanese songs. I thought that if I sang Japanese songs in front of my classmates, they would think I am weird. There was a time in one class in college that we had a game. Anyone who loses would have to perform something in front of the class. I thought of it as a chance. I am not the best singer but I thought of singing in front as a fun thing to do and would reassure me of my confidence level. The day came and I used the opportunity to sing Japanese songs. I think it's a talent God gave me and I should use it. Instead of singing anything random, I asked them to make requests of anime song themes. That way, I knew they would somehow be familiar with the song. I was trembling at first but then, I felt good after. Since that day, I had a bit more confidence to sing in front. There were three times when I went to parties and I got to sing karaoke with friends and in front of other people. That's all I could do and I am no professional to go on concerts. I do it for fun and improve my self confidence not only when singing in front but for class reports and other activities that require being in front of a crowd.

Thank you very much for the nice comment! If I get the chance to be in front to perform again, I will remember that.

You need not be ashamed of what you like. Your classmates can think all what they want about you. Not all in your class can sing in Japanese? It is good (+) to you. Yes you probably have a talent, and you need use it to sing. Yes if you do not want to go concerts, go to karaoke, parties, etc. And sing for your pleasure!

No... They say that I really have a great voice but I don't really have the confidence but my boyfriend does. He sings in front of the crowd... I think he has so much of confidence to the extent that I was left with nothing... ^_^

If you have a good voice you need training, and it would be nice if you sing together with your friend. Good luck!

I can't sing and only do it when no one is around. I do like to sing in church but I am low so no one can here how bad I am. Don't want to scare people. I do admire people who can go on stage and sing no matter how big or small the stage is. Singing is a gift and it is always entertaining to listen to good singers. Keep it up I am sure you will hit the big stage soon.

I use to participate in school plays/musicals that required I sing. (I use to be a fairly good singer.) My favorite was a play my brother and I were in. In this musical, we were boyfriend and girlfriend. Unfortunately, the entire audience knew we were brother and sister and what was suppose to be a "drama", turned out to be a "comedy", with both of us singing a love song to each other while shoving and kicking one another. The audience was roaring. I don't sing/act/dance on stage any more. My voice is shot, with years of misuse, abuse, and no use.

My dogs still think I'm a good singer...they don't howl, they just wag their tails, and I take that as applause.

I've sung and acted on stage. Mostly in school concerts but I also joined and amateur acting group about 8 years ago. It was something I had always wanted to do and the opportunity presented itself...so I went on down to join and was asked to audition for the next play. I ended up landing one of the lead roles.

The school years, I remember when, I was only 8 years old it was one of my favorite occupations. Every year we had competitions, and I with my friends always participated. Not to win, but for fun of it.

It is sad when a person wants to sing, but he does not have a good voice. But if you work hard on your voice, maybe you succeed to improve it.

singing, my talent not developed - singing, love, good voice
I love to sing also even when I am still young. Sing in common or unison with music on radio. But I did not experienced in the stage and in the audience in solo. I did in group singing if all are requested to sing in chorus when I was a student so in works. Might be If I trained well in my younger years I guess I am a singer now. Its because I belong to the average group in living. Still this time wnt to fulfill those wishes to become a good singer or voice but I think I will not discovered anymore because ou ages increase every year. I guess its late to become a successful one. In our celebrations and parties at home I usually sing w/ whole family to be merry and happy.

I tried to sing in school days and got 3rd prize:). I did never sing after that because I do not fell confident enough that my voice is good enough to perform on stage. I feel that my voice is good and many other people said that. i Love singing :)

i sang on stage when i was in grade 5, then no more. but when i was in my 30's, i had my guts and sang in karaoke's. now i can sing in front of people without my voice trembling. although im not a very good singer, but i believe that embarassment lessens as you age.

Maybe if you working on your voice, you can sing like the old times. Example Suzanne Boyle you think she is old? No she is in their best years!

I am not very good at singing. I can only sing in the karaoke with a few good friends only:) I dare not to sing in public because I don't think my voice and key are good enough. I will feel shy to sing for everybody. That's nice you tried to sing on the stage. I love China

I have not either..but I really want to give it a shot if I had a chance. I think I will get very nervous if that happens but I won't mind that. It will be a fantastic feeling to feel the crowd.

Hello ET28LV :) i love singing, but I don't think I'm good enough to do it on stage in front of other people :) in my opinion, everyone has to do what he's best at, so I'll leave singing to proffesionals and those that have really great voices. And I'll keep my singing for parties with my friends, shower time and the times I'm driving a car :D
