I have never felt to so stressed in my life. The last few months I may say would be the months I have struggled financially and friendships that have been broken. It came to a point where I was questioning Him above if he has been listening. I know it is wrong, but we get to that point in our lives where we just question His plans for us especially when we are so down and out. Thus, I got so frustrated. I thought everything wasn't going my way as how I planned it. But then after a long look at how my life is, I then understood that He is teaching me something. Have you been frustrated because He isn't listening to your long sufferings in life? Do you battle with Him all the time praying you want this instead of understanding what He wants you to learn from the sufferings you go through?

Hello sublime03, yes sometimes it is really very frustrating, when you see that rich are getting more rich, while in spite of your hard work and humble prayers, you just cannot get your basic necessities of life. But this frustration of mine vanishes as soon as I think about those who have to see and suffer curses like accidents, sickness, earthquakes, wars, separation from loved ones etc. etc. etc. and then I realise my mistake and I raise my hands and thank God for whatever he has given to us. Why do we always see what we don't have.........why don't we appreciate what the almighty God has gifted us.........so next time you feel frustrated, look around at more unlucky people than you and you will smile and say thanks to God.

I have been tested but I do understand now why I am at this moment in my life. But I still trust in Him for all of His promises. I continue to pray for others and continue to build my relationship with Him. Indeed I am thankful for what I have and will never deny how much I appreciate where He has brought me right now.

Oh yes, I have been through this! And I know how you must have felt when you asked Him, "are you listening?" He listens, I promise you! Everything falls in the right place in the right time. God never deserts His children... Never lose hope!! :) Have fun!

I think god is listening, maybe waiting for the right time to act, I have been frustrated many times now but its just a phase of bad things happening in succession .. it all fades out after sometime and good times come . It will be apt to think that its god who has brought about the change..

I'm guilty of questioning Him too when my marriage broke up. With my 3 kids and I living in a place where we were almost total strangers and no relatives to turn to, I also doubted then the power of prayers but..because at that time I really had no one to turn to, to cry all my pains, fears and frustrations, I continued holding on to Him. My realization came later that He had been using people and circumstances to help us out of our situation. As my children are growing up, I discovered the answers to my question why He allowed it to happen to us. Just keep on holding on to Him, He has reasons which at the moment you may find hard to understand but just put your trust in Him for He will never fail you. God bless.

Indeed He has so much plans for us and yes we may be in our lowest but it does not mean that He is not with us. I now realize why He brought me to a point where I had nothing and for that I am forever thankful.

Well...just one time when a girlfriend leave me. But as you say, He's trying to teach us something, and I think that the teaching is "Get ready", because always what comes later is very good. So, keep up!!! I know that God has great things for each and everyone of us, it's just about turning to the point of His view (where everything it's perfect).

sometimes, things that we thought are good for us, they simply are not. that is why God doesn't let them happen to us. He knows what is the best for us.that is why He is the Almighty God.

You are correct. Whatever seems good in our eyes may not be what God wants but it is included in the plans that He has for us so that he can build our character. Each and every detail in our life has been pre-planned already. If God sees we are going the wrong way then He helps us find our way back on track again.

Someone once said that 'it seems God will do nothing except we pray', there is a point in our life that we need to understand that prayer is not just a tool to get God to do something for us but a medium we are given to develop a fellowship with Him. It is not like a push botton we press when we get into trouble and we just want a quick solution so that we can get along with our life. So when these things dont happen the way we expect, we assume He is not listening or does not even care about our peoblem. But once you understand this principle, you will know how to recieve answers to prayer

He loves everybody. When he does not bless something which you wish, he has a good reason, which you may know. If you think in this manner, we calm down. Moreover, we live by his book. End of the day all what you do from dawn to nightfall is what he wished. You say I will see you tomorrow to someone and the Muslims conclude such a statement "Insha Allah" the meaning is with the blessings of Almighty. You are heading for a beautiful life because your love your God in spite of ups and down. This is what he loves. In A Holy book there is a meaning, treat me and my Prophets as your friend and we will always be with you.
