hi! Yes, I always answer all the calls I receive on my mobile phone, even the unknown ones, because I really don't know who it is, and if I don't answer I will wonder all day/night long :) I am a very curious person by the way! AND i ALSO don't think it can happen something, because you are talking through the phone- the person who's calling you can't see you, can't maybe also trace you, can only hear you, and if he is disturbing you, you just can call the operator and complain- they will do the rest

That's a fair one.
I too will try to answer all my calls. But here the operators generally are damn slow, they don't even pay heed to complains. They just give a complain number and tell you to wait for 2 working days, and when you call after the prescribed time they would slug it telling that its under processing and all that.
Well Thanx!

They are all like that man!
Only Airtel was offering good customer services at first but now its all the same, they just keep on avoiding and faking complains with the customers.

yes of course, if its a call then i must answered it as it might be emergency even if the number did not register in my phone. but once i talk to them and they are just like those telemarketers out thee whose just waste of time then i just told them straight that im a busy person and im not interested and even i am then i will be the one to call whenever i need one so thees no need for them to waste my time.

that's a simple and straight forward solution, but what if someones calling intentionally and disturbing you by purpose.
Thanx for your precious time!

Hello dante :)
Like you, I also have this fear of not answering unknown calls. For me I think it's unethical to call someone without texting them first of your information and why would you call unless of course if you really expect a business call. There's one time who keeps on calling on my phone with a number not registered on my contacts when later through simply ignoring him, he was just asking me to be my textmate. I think it's sooo rude for him to do that. I don't like having text mates co'z it can be so dangerous and you don't even know what the real intentions are.

ya cecillecarmela!
text mate can be dangerous, I completely agree with you.
Besides if you are getting disturbed by some particular calls, you can blacklist/screen those numbers using your phone's facility. I too don't like to attend unknown calls, and if its a case of business, then I remember to collect the number.
Thanx for your precious time dear!

I usually accept the calls from unknown numbers. Who knows, maybe something bad has happened to my family members and somebody is calling to inform me. But if that strange number looks suspicious (the format of the number seems to be not local), then I would cancel the call. There have been cases when people were called to by an foreign caller. The location of the call was somewhere in Africa. After answering the call, people discovered that there was like 100$ added to their mobile phone bill. I think that somebody stole the money from other people's cell phones like that.

I do not know exactly about that one, but some similar cases have been registered here as well. Especially the Nokia manufactured phones, were being called by a 15 digit number and upon receiving the call the battery of the phone bursts injuring or even killing the owner of the phone.
That is the reason I feel a little unsecured.
Well thanks for your precious time!

If it's an unkown number, my curiosity always gets the better of me and I cannot resist answering it just to see who the mystery caller is
If somebody who I know rings, and I don't feel like a chat, I may ignore it. If they ring again, I know the call's urgent and I pick up.

If I able to take the phone, I always answer. If I get calls from numbers I don't know that I can't answer, I'll check who the number belongs to before returning the call. I once got several calls from a hospital in Western Norway, they had some patient that they didn't know who was and he didn't talk clearly, so they thought my number was the number/name he kept repeating. Hope they got things sorted out, 'cause I got no idea who he was, but if I hadn't answered they would have continued calling my number for ages.

Hi Dante_off,
Yes I do. I pick up all call on my mobile phone, whether I knew it or not. I give my phone number to anyone who has business with me. And of course I did not save all their numbers in my mobile phone. Sometimes my friends also used to call me using the other phone number then what they give me.
I am afraid if I miss one call and that is an important call, then I would be at the losing end. I do not afraid if someone I did not known call me because they are the one who pay for the bills and not me. So, why should I avoid any unknown number.

i don't like to receive calls from unknown no.s mostly because i am lazy to respond to them lol, well yeah but most of them are wrong numbers and so think a little before picking it up, if its a local no. then i pick it up soon coz it might any of my friends but if its not then sometimes i would and sometimes i wouldn't thinking it's a wrong number, and anyways i don't get much calls from outside except a few friends and parents.

Well. Unknown calls can't be that dangerous and I recommend answering them anyways, you have no idea if it's your family member using someones phone

Hello!
No I don't answer to all unknown numbers who is called or calling. I don't now why, all my best friend have my mobile phone number. My relatives too have my mobile number. But if someone of my family would be in danger, and called to me with unknown number, I'm think that I fell it.
