Make summary form read some book... / myLot

In this discussion, I just want to ask you about how if you make some summary after read some books? I think some people have a lost their memories, and sometimes we have read some books, but we don't understand about the meaning in the books. Because of that I have some idea to make summary. Now, I always make summary after I read some books..especially for psychology's book. What do you think about that? have a good day and happy lotting...

I don't make a summary, but I'm always taking quotes and notes. As I have a good memory,most of the time I never read them again, but my notes and quotes are the only things that I remember of a book 10 of 20 years later.
