My girlfriend is wondering whats wrong with her blood type because she has a type O+ but her father has B while her mother is type A. She is confused, she thinks that one of them is not her real parents. We check online and do some research however there are no specific answer through the web so we were just wondering if someone can provide some answer or may enlighten us with this issue. Its actually a no big thing issue since according to her she is already too old to brought up something against her parents but in anycase that she is right then she should know about it as well. So what do you think? Is it Possible?

This Is Possible if your mother is A and your father is B. maybe your mother got AO from her parents.. The same way your father got BO from his parents.. Maybe you just got the O's from them.. Blood type don't determine if she's your father or mother.

Thanks, I got the same answer when i search the web for this issue. But according to it, It is not 100% sure as well. We are just confuse and probably someone out there has the same situation. Probably my girlfriend is a bit affected to that coz her parents cant answer her back since they really dont know why as well.

I think that it is possible that your GF will have a type O+ blood if her father has the B type and her mother has the A type. I still remember the lecture on our science subject in high school that A + B will sometime result to an O type of blood (O type is considered like a universal type of blood). I am jsut not so sure with the +. And even if your GF does have blood type is not the result of her parent's blood type, that will not mean that one them is not her real parents.

Well said..Thanks williesantos for that very clear reply but i guess my girl is just a bit curious on why because she have 5 siblings but out of 5 she is the only one who has the O+. This may let someone think that it might be right? thanks and God bless

sadly.. no, it isnt possible. the only combination an A parent and a B parent can produce is either A.. or B.. or AB. someones not being honest with yer friend
