What is your favorite dish to prepare? I enjoy making a version of Coq Au Vin, which is chicken in a wine and mushroom sauce.

Try substituting Cornish Game-Hens. Pheasant, or quail works great too.

hi bucklord my favorite dish to prepare, and I did make this a lot before I came to this retirement center was spaghetti and meatball, italian meatballs. I always used bartoli's plus spaghetti plue their tomato basil garlic sauce but I always added a lot more garlic and a lot more fresh basil and I use mama lucys frozen italian beef meatballs, it was always so good and because it has added protein int the spaghetti plus omega 3 and 6 oils in it ,it never raised my blood sugar up at all. Just a very delicious dish which I loved to make and even my adult son thought it was good, really flattering coming from a picky eater. lol.

I don't have one favorite dish to make. I like to try all kinds of different recipes and experiment with things that people recommend to me. I like to look at the recipes on recipezaar and allrecipes.com I like both of those websites.

Probably my all time favorite would be spaghetti and meatballs. I have a great recipe from my mom that I believe is simply the best. It's easy to make and very tasty; I also do a variation with many additional meats which makes a very rich sauce or "gravy". It's really great.
