Yes, i take herbs like ginseng and tang kwei for general health care, once in a month. It's good to take them once in a while, as a general health supplement. But, i don't take them everyday because it can cause head dizzy to me, since now the weather is warm. It's a good practice but not many people like the smell and taste of these herbs. For example, my sister prefer not to take any herbs supplement because in fear of the taste.

I believe that us being dizzy on often intake of this herbs is the bodies way to tell us that it's not used to this kinds of food. I in my experience I eat herbs everyday, the first week was that I also felt dizzy, but as I progress my body adjusted and I dont get dizzy anymore.

sometimes I also take herbal medicine to cure my sickness. or maybe to prevent from getting sick. you're right, it works and has no side effect like chemical medicine. it's cheap and easy to get everywhere. even I don't need to buy them but I plant them in my garden. so every time I need them I only need to take them and cook them directly. easy, simple, cheap and it works!

I do take herbal medicines when i'm a kid.. My mom will always force me to drink, for she says it's good for health.. BUt in reality, it's a cheaper alternative to western medicines back then, as it's too expensive to be seeing doctors.. lol =D
One thing i hate about herbal medicines, is that they are too bitter.. bUt i will wanna drink them too, because it cures me faster as compared to medicine.. haha =D

I have a friend cop who gave me this plant called gotu kola. I think you also know about this plant. Good thing with this plant is it grows fast and more, I mean it grows fast as it scatters fast. And my cop friend said it has a lot of benefits to our health. The only thing about this is to be careful or don't take too much of it if you are diabetic. I take a few leaves of this, soak in hot water for some time and eat it and drink the water, just like tea.

Herbal root? Are you talking about ginseng? I believe when you say herbal it will no longer be medicine, instead it's called supplement. We really need this types of intake every day to rid us of the toxins we intake everyday.
Im into herbal and natural herbs also. It helps me regulate my systems waste management.
There is this law from thermodynamics. The energy that went in is alwyas equals to the energy that came out. This is also correct when it comes to our body. The food we intake should be equals to energy produced and waste. Everything must go out, otherwise it will develop bacteria inside of us and make us sicker everyday.
Im with you when it comes to herbal lifestyle.
