What is your opinion of Google Chrome?

My brother keeps nagging me to get google chrome, because I still have internet explorer. He claims that google chrome is a lot faster and better. But im still really content with Internet Explorer, its pretty good, and I like it. So, has anyone tried google chrome? Is it any good? Would you recommend it?

I think it's better than IE but my favorite is still firefox and yes it's time to try something new. Pretty good is worse than the best:P

Are you kidding? It is one of the most common browsers available and more people use it than chrome. Just type firefox in search and you'll find it. It really is the best browser in my opinion so give it a try.

its certainly better than IE. i had to use ie recently and i was screaming at it within minutes. i do prefer firefox though.

Hi, wigima5. I have this icon installed on my desktop screen. And, to me it does not go as fast as it should. I tried it on this laptop and the results were alright. Nothing to brag about though.

For me its still firefox, but compairing IE and CHROME well you should go to chrome its best choice, IE was a very buggy browser because they have lots of plugins to run, maybe when you start using firefox or chrome you will never go back again to your IE. Hope Bill Gates will realize this someday LOL :D

Hello wigi. Yes chrome bit faster than IE and for me the better one is Firefox. I try chrome already and yes this is fast browser too. IE is a weak browser when in comes some security.. I read some articles about IE. No problem if you install chrome too into your PC. My browser now is 3 IE which is included when you install OS, Chrome and my favorite, Firefox.. Happy Lotting...

I will recommend it only for fast browsing and simplicity.But when compared to IE we can use chrome.I hate IE.Chrome is very much faster , looks very simple and also user friendly.But the major disadvantage is hackers can get into your PC easily if you use chrome.Try Mozilla, it is good in browsing speed and also in security purpose.But chrome definitely not worth in security....So try Mozilla or Opera..

Personally I'm not that fond of it. They released it way to soon. its not screen reder friendly. However, your brother is right. Its a lot faster then IE and doesn't crash like Ie's been known to do. I had it on my computer for a while, but since it wasn't designed for screen readers more spsifically mine I decided not to bother with it.
