I was down to 27 when I finally said, "stop, I can't take this anymore!" I went wireless and it's worked out fine. Not great, but a heck of alot better than dial-up.

I have had broadband and that is fantastic, something on dial uop that took 18 hours to download, downloaded in less than 1/4 of an hour. I couldn't believe it.

I think you need to change your internet connection with a broadband internet connection. Today most of internet contents on the internet are big sizes dan we need to have faster internet connection for those multimedia contents. I don't think if we can easily opening online streaming content from a common dial up connection. There's so many limitation we can do on the internet from just a dial up connection. This is the matter of satisfaction during accessing the internet. Perhaps a broadband internet connection could be more expensive than a common dial up connection plan, but however a broadband connection worth it. If your are has no any broadband provider, perhaps you can try to using your cellphone operator's internet plan if any. Most of all major mobile phone operator in every country have their own data plan today. Just try to asking your mobile phone operator for making sure whether there's an option for your area. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

The last time I used dial up was 5 years ago. I know how painfully slow it can be. Forget about downloading something. It's only good for emails and chatting. Have you tried using 3g? It is faster than dial-up.

Dial up connection was faster before giving 56.7kbps at peak, now because many already uses it speed decreases overtime, I also uses dial up before, giving me 42kbps and downloading speed at 3-4kbps what a waste of time :D,
