I do !! i sometimes wish my mother would shake to wake me up from my sleep and all that happen in the past 30 years was only a dream . to get up as a 8 year old and be prepared to make the right choices in life instead of some 'side tracks' which took me away from what i really want ... that would be beautiful But no regrets .. i have learned a lot in this life , no regrets at all .. and the lessons i have learned will guide me to take the right steps in the coming years .. Well , we all know we cant turn back the clock but that there must have been some short seconds you wish you could ... right ?? cheers

It would be great to wake up, only to realize that the bad experiences that have been gone through were actually bad dreams. I like selective memories and I choose those happy ones only. That's how I manage to live by... good topic here.

Hi Sanjana, Frankly speaking, if I were given a chance to rewind my life, then NO…I would not like to grab that opportunity. While it is true that if we could go back, maybe we would have restructured our life and avoided the mistakes but then I’m content with whatever life has given me. My only regret is not going for higher studies which would have given me a better job…other than that, I have no regrets. I specially don’t want to relive my childhood and again go back to school, studies, teachers, adult supervision, so much of discipline all around LOL …and even after so much planning, will anything really change Sanjana! Same old stories of youth, love, marriage, family, job, money, stress…NO NO…I’d rather go fast forward (if I could!)

Oh yes... Many times in my life i wish that events was a dream... But it's useless... When i realize that, i guess i had to stop wishing that and start to accept the actual life even it was a bad times...

yes, sometimes i do. but most of the time, i have my feel flat on the ground. everyone dreams of an easy life, no problems and no worries. every single thing one needs is only at an arm's distance. but life's not in a pipe. hard reality stares us in the face and grumbles in our stomach everyday.

Hi sanjana! There is nothing to wish. Life I perceive is like a dream or a dream movie and we, as characters, keep playing our roles in this dream movie. Time passes so quickly that one never comes to know, how many years of life has passed in just a flicker.

Life is a fabric in which the threads are woven to produce a fine work of art. The beauty is lost when one looks only at a single thread. So is the fabric of life is multi colored just as the universe is diverse, yet feelings, emotions, desires and dreams are quite similar all over the world. Unlike the drama in a theatre where there can be an understudy or substitute, in this unlimited drama of life, there is no other actor or actresses who can play our individual part as well as we do. Each of us has a rightful place and role in the drama of life. We should therefore accept the things by which fate binds us.

i kinda like the produced fabric .. i have become ... yes i do ! but that 1 single tread seem to not fit in my life and making all the changes that i did not want ...

When I was younger I would think how cool it would be to have all of my life be just a dream and my mom would be waking me up for school lol. I'm glad I'm not the only one who would think of my life being a dream. I would change a lot of things if something like that really did happen.

Yes, too much actually. I just hate that feeling of being fully absorbed in a realistic dream, only to be snatched away from it by the cold claws of reality

First of all if my life was a dream, I think I would be a bit scared. To think that my mind would dream up something like my life. It would be quite an odd combination that my subconscious had dreamed up to say the least. It would be strange and I wonder what had caused me to think up such an elaborate dream. For all I know, it could be true, this entire post could be a dream of mine and I could be moments away from waking up. Of course, there are some times where I do wish certain parts of my life would be a dream. Turning the clock back would allow me to go back over certain parts of my life. Perhaps it would turn out much better, perhaps worse. However, it would be interesting and I do admit, returning to the careful days of childhood would be much appreciated. Then other times, this entire life being a dream would be an absolute nightmare of epic proportions. I mean, some of the events in my life, relieving them again, thanks but no thanks. I would rather go through these things once. Plus there is a sense of accomplishment in certain areas that I certainly do not want erased. So in some ways, it would be nice to set the clock back and everything being a dream. In other ways, I think it would be a real nightmare and I would hope that I had dreamed that I had dreamed that my entire life was a dream.

I wish, of course. Some things should not happen to me and I would like to consider them as a dream, but that is reality actually and maybe dealing with it is the most difficult of all. And I think there stands the big question - Why bad things happen to good people? It is just stupid to ask this kind of question. Everyone maybe deserved the event that had happened to him and has to accept it whatever it was and to move on. Sometimes it is harder to move on than we expect but we have to. Of course, time would say its word too - how fast can we recover or can we recover at all when something bad happens. I think only bad things in life can be considered to be a dream, cuz everyone would want that instead of live throug "hell". Turning the clock back is also impossible but everyone would want to do it for something in his past.
