I'm making my first movie!

So I aspire to be a film maker someday, but until I had the opportunity, I've only gone as far as writing scripts. This is my first film and is most unlikely to become a feature nor an indie film. But it is for my friends' final exams, and i find it really overwhelming! I was too overwhelmed that I have been to careless in shooting my frames. It still tells a story, but not as perfect as I've imagined. Now it just looks crazy and rushed! LOL. One day I'm going to have this one remade. :))) Right now, I don't even want to listen to it, because it somewhat breaks my heart not to see my story unfold the way I have imagined it, but wth? I might as well just make the most out of what I have right now. *Sigh* If there's any lesson that I need to learn about making movies right now is how to calm down, and make every one else take their time. boo, low budget films.

All I can say is good luck with your movie!:) Me and my friends have also made a couple of movies, although they're far from perfect. We were very young back then and decided to just have some fun and capture the so called "scenario" on camera. We didn't knew about the rules for shooting frames and etc. then, so they look really raw and unprofessional. In case you're interested, you can search the YouTube for "puhjahollywood" and you'll find some of these movies there. I wonder if you're going to upload your own movie to YouTube too?

hannanable78, If I may add, I feel that you should get yourself up and familiar with the tools of the trade where it will do your production and you more good. One of them would have to be the film editing tools, where no productions be it the high or low end ones can afford to do without. So, I hope that you get yourself familiar and armed to the teeth with this and other tools of the trade is concerned. Take care and have a nice day.
