i miss high school! don't you? high school life is far different from college life. when i was in high school, i don't feel any pressure before going to school. i thought of going to school as another day for me to bond with my friends. do a little school thing and have fun all day. i miss those time where we eat together, those immature fights, love affairs, class competitions and the alike. my best memory of high school was probably when we join the high school cheering competition. i was in 4th yr and about to graduate that time. our section doesn't have enough girls. we are 27 in the class and we only have 5 girls and the rest is boys so our adviser forced us to join the competition. i thought my friends are gonna refuse it since its kinda gay for us (no offense) but they all like the idea of joining. for the first time, we were united. we all aimed for one thing. to be the champion. sadly our bodies are not really capable of joining such competition (hahahaha) thus didn't allow us to win BUT we were the 2ND runner up. cool isn't it? so whats your best highschool memory?

Interesting topic. Your high school memories sure sound fun. When I was in high school, I'd say I really dislike having to belong with my batchmates. I graduated from grade school on that school and most of my elementary friends chose other schools. What happened in high school was that most of my batchmates were new students and that means a lot of new personalities. We were labeled the worst batch ever in that school and I really hated that. Because of that, I turned to students from other years. That's when I came to be friends with students from year levels higher or lower than mine. That's the good part. We always hung out at the library during recess and lunch. We were chatting silently. Since most of us were artists, we drew a lot. Our group always had a place in the library because we would rush to it once the break starts. We ate heavy meals together during recess and would stay the whole duration of the lunch break at the library. I used to be a shy person. I still am but the difference with other students is that I had self confidence in front of the class when needed. It was during my fourth year when I had the chance to join my classmates who usually dances on stage for the intermission numbers. I am fat and sort of the class nerd but I think I can say I'm a versatile person and a subtle show off too I was an artist/head artist in our campus paper along with my friends who were artists and writers. That was another fun part because my circle of friends, we all were part of the same club. Also, there were times our group were usually called by our teacher to work on the props during graduation ceremonies. We had lots of fun with that. So sorry for this lengthy post. I tend to say a lot of stuff with topics I'm very interested at. High school sure is a wonderful memory...when we had lots of fun and were very free! =)

i appreciate that you shared us not just one but lots of your high school memory. i could tell that we have a lot of similarities. like when i was in high school, i really love to draw. i never failed to join the poster making contest every year. i was also part of the school paper but im not a writer. i was the cartoonist instead. the time i went to high school, i was fat too but im not sure if i was nerd. i don't have a good voice and i cant dance flexibly so i joined the drama club. and i discovered my talent in acting which i carried till college. high school was really fun. thank you for sharing and sorry if my reply was kindly long :) keep safe my friend

i guess my best memory of high school was during the final exams week of second year high school. because for the whole day all you would be doing is take exams, we spend only about four hours in school then afterwards, we go to the house of one of our classmates and review, yeah right! we would watch movies and pig out and do a lot of fun stuff. maybe we did review, but only a little bit. it was sooo fun, and something we don't get to do anymore because of our busy lives today.

haha i have the same memory as yours barnkinney! yeah! everyones telling their parents they cant come home early even if its examination week because its more easy to review with a group than reviewing alone. well, that review thing is nothing but a lie. hahaha. we review for like 5 mins or 10 then do all the stuffs we want. enjoy film, cook something then relax. luckily, me and my set of friends does have good brains so we never disappoint our parents. thanks for sharing my friend. keep safe

There are lots and lots of unforgettable memory.I can't say a particular is my best.I love my school life.I will share one incident. Whenever a function is conducted they will arrange for some competitions and give out prizes. So I gave my name in writing competition. But my was written in speech competition by mistake..I don't know about this.So when they called my name I just went thinking I can write about something..But when I went there all were preparing for the speech.I got shocked.I don't like to speak in front of 100 students, bit of stage fear.So they called my name and I just went inside and I started to speak.I just spoke about 2 lines. Then I told to my teacher that I came for writing competition.By mistake they called my name here.So she left me go.Then when announcing prizes they called my name.I got shocked again. Then she said it is for the courage that you spoke 2 lines without knowing anything.I just gave a smile and then thanked her..I never forget this incident in my life...

I actually couldn't stand high school. I was a lot more mature then other females my age so we didn't get along. And guys weren't exactlly into being "just friends". But I do remember that every year during homecoming week, they would have events during the whole week leading up to the football game. And I loved those days because we got to do crazy things each day. Twin day, blast from the past, kiddie day , celebrity day and spirit day. I loved dressing up like a child and putting on my parents clothes from the 70s. One year I even dressed up like the singer Aaliyah and people really thought I looked just like her. Me and my two other sisters dressed up for twin day and being that we all look alike it was fun getting confused. Other than that I just miss being that young and carefree.

I love my whole high school life! I had the best time in the world, and I had the best friends, which until now, I'm still in contact with and we are still close friends. I loved every minute of high school, and I was really really sad when it ended. You are right when you said about those immature fights, love affairs and class competitions. It made me smile actually when I was reading that part in your discussion, cause that was really what my highschool life was..

i guess it was just the whole laid-back attitude of it all. I didn't have any major responsibilities beyond doing my homework on time and being behaved in class My future was still a long way off to think about, and i had tons of free time to hang out with friends without worrying about work or anything.
