I`m looking at buying this truck, but there is a drive shaft balance problem. Is this a common problem with these vehicles and is there a solution.

I would suggest that you go on vehix.com to get just what you're looking for. If there may be a problem, you probably shouldn't consider it. That's just my opinion. Good luck.

I have this exact truck and have not heard of this problem. I even have the extended cab. The s-10 in general is a very forgiving and durable truck.

reg cab or extended?
The reg cab as a one peice shaft and ext has a split shaft, either way it is uncommon, I have owned many s-series
you also may want to check s10forum.com, I used to frequest there but now I have a tacoma :) much happier these days
