Which form do you prefer to get 'junk mail' in? E-mail or the Mailbox?

I have always wondered which form people prefer to receive their 'junk mail' in (assuming you have to get it one way or another). One one hand, you can easily clear your e-mail's inbox or spam folder. On the other, its always nice (to me) to have real mail, even if its not really important..but then you have to dispose of it/shred it if necessary. Thoughts?

I would prefer electronic junk mail because it can be easily deleted and discarded without a trace, and would not add litter to our living environment. On the other hand, junk mail that I receive everyday when I open my mailbox is truly a nuisance. I wonder how much paper waste is generated annually.

Thats a great point, so great in fact that I have changed my mind. Sustainability it a hot topic today and anything that companies can do to reduce their impact should be done, even if it does mean taking trips to the mailbox to come back empty handed!
