As a teenager and a student, what do you think you can do for our nature?

Me, I save more electricity now than before. And when shopping, instead of using plastics, I use shopping bags for my things to fit in it. I just wish I can do more things for our earth.

Hello autumndreamer.. Good to know that people like you still care for our mother earth. I agree with your thought in this discussion, being a student and being just an average kid does not necessarily mean you can no longer do your part in saving the environment. Personally, my way of saving the Earth is by throwing my trash into the trash can, I don't just throw it anywhere especially when i'm in a public place.. often i would put my trash in my bag instead and throw it in the trash can as soon as i find one. :) I'm also afraid to go in dark places but I learned to overcome it by thinking about the environment. So instead of sleeping with lights on I managed to sleep with lights off because aside that it's such a waste of money, i also feel guilty spending the electricity basically for my pointless fears. haha. ;)) I also read about other suggestions as to how we can save mother earth in simple ways and I practice some if not all of them. We are all caretakers of the earth. In the beginning God lend us the Earth as our place to live in and as settlers here our job is to protect it in ALL ways, and that of course includes taking care of the environment. In the end, it's the most important thing.

we are so much the same! I don't throw my garbage anywhere but only in the trash can and I sometimes even scold my friends about that. :D Thanks for responding.
