I am an asthmatic and it occurs to me that if a drug could be developed that imitated the effects of asthma then it would help people quit smoking! all the best urban

There are some hardcore smokers that wouldn't be fazed by any negative reaction to their person. I've heard of people leaving their oxygen tents to have a smoke. It might work on new smokers, though.

Urban, my friend, Your idea seems to be sound. However, many asthmatics smoke. the addiction is stronger than the disease. I have seen a man I work with smoking while his rescue inhaler is in his other hand!

i don't think that would work, like others say it wouldn't be popular and i don't think it would fully convince people to quit. i think education is the best way, but unfortunately health class is not a major class and such not many people are convinced to not try it.
