hi friends.
this is not exactly about cricket but when i logged into mylot today,i found about 9 to 10 discussion from a single person with questions we heard a lot of times,i kinda got irritated .
but it took me a while to realise that this is how i also started here at mylot.
if i am not wrong,i started 9 discussions very quickly in my third day here.
so do you get the same feeling when you see something like this.
P.S. sorry if it hurts you

Some people, especially newbies, seem to think that starting discussions is the main way of earning here. I think that, first, a common impression is that, the more responses you get the more you earn ... totally wrong, of course! Secondly, many people are much more concerned with what is on their minds rather than what is on other people's minds. I'm afraid that it's unusual to find people (especially young people) these days who listen before they speak.
MyLot is a community which actually tends to reward the 'listener' (that is, the 'responder') better than the 'shouter'. It takes many people some time to learn that and while it is a good thing to understand that, there are 'rules' or rather 'Guidelines' which it is often necessary to actively and specifically ask new users to read: most people don't bother to read them properly before posting and, as a result, often have discussions deleted. That must be seen not as a 'punishment' but as part of the learning system. We are all asked to help keep order here so it mustn't be thought of as unkind to report duplicates or any other kind of violation of the Guidelines. It is a positive activity because it helps to keep up the standard and encourages people to understand what MyLot is and what it is NOT.

Oh I know I also seen the same thing when I got on here. I usually write a discussion on stuff I would like to know and so on, But some people on here take it way to far.
