How Forums are making money ?

They may have other sites that are making money and they could utilize the income from their other sites to pay their members in their forum site. I think the forum is only their eyes and ears to promote their other sites.

I know a friend of mine's whos in tat site , they generate money through sale of 'leet' & 'uber' accounts. Those who buy it are allowed in a subforum "marketplace" and a few other subforums too. This might be the main reason for their income.

I don't think that the web master is going to reveal how is making his income otherwise others will copy his work. I am not so knowledgeable but I think that one of the main income on the internet derives from adverts or else selling products. It is a curious think to get to know how this particular forum is making money without any advert being displayed.

I dont know for sure how a forum site can make money legally without adds, but it sort of sounds sketchy to me, a lot of other forum sites out there online aren't totally legal, not saying that the one you post about isent legal because as I said I dont know they could be completely legal. but its just something to consider when joining a new or unheard of forum site, a lot of the new forum sites now have virus and payment issues, and are not all the way co-sure. About a year ago I tried to join another forum site thinking it would be like this one, but while attempting to sign up my virus protection started going off like crazy peeping and the computer screen froze, and my computer seemed like it was going to crash, so just saying there could be somthing not right with some of these so called forum sites not all of them are as good as this one, and use legitimate payment practices.
