How bigger harddisk can your computer supports

I have currenty 250gb of harddrive. and once attached a 500gb more and it worked well. may be it could support 1tb. But what is the limit. i dont know. how to get this. and what is the limit of storage space of your pc.

I am amazed at the size that you need for your requirements. What is it that you want it for. Just curious!!

Hi! my hard drive is 40GB which I think is not enough, but right now I really don't have any money to upgrade it, because I must pay my study fees. but I actually don't know how bigger HDD can it support. i hope it can support at least 120GB, because I have much information to download :)

I never get a chance to find out how much more my computer can support. I have two 1 TB of external hard drive, and I have my internal one around 500 GB. I use them alternatively, and works pretty good.
