I am delayed ...but not pregnant?

I am using oral contraceptives to prevent from getting pregnant. I have a two year old son but me and my husband don't want yet to have another one since my son is still young. I always have a delayed menstruation back then when I wasn't using oral contraceptive. However, after taking these small tablets I always have it every 26-28 cycle. But last month I didn't have my cycle. I was thinking because I mistakenly took the 3 tablets in one day, two in the morning as soon as I remembered that I didn't take the last night pill and one at night. What I did is I got PT. I did it in twice at same time. It was negative. So I continued to take another pack of contraceptive. What should I do? Should I be afraid of?

I guess your body is a bit confused with the hormones since you took 3 tablets in one day. I suggest that you see your OB so that you will have peace of mind and not keep on wondering whether you got pregnant or it is just hormonal imbalance. Have a nice day!

Maybe its because of hormonal changes in your body. I am not sure but I think hormones are also influence by out diet. Try to observe it, maybe the PT at that time was not very accurate and you can always check again after a month. If ever you have baby, I think that baby is a blessing.

You may want to check with your doctor because I got pregnant still taking an oral contraceptive. I took the pill at the ame time everyday for 3 months and everything was fine. On the fourth month when it was time for me to get my period it never came so I waited a little longer and eventually took a test and it came back positive I was actually three months at that time. So to be on the safe side see your doctor.

I think once you are negative there is nothing to be afraid of as long as you did not miss taking it while you are having contact. If you are still doubtful about it then be sure to see your OB-GYNE & ask for some advice what to do best about it.

Probably your body was confused because you've mistaken the pills...I would go to the doctor if I were you. Probably you're not pregnant, but a doctor's check will make you less worry for that. Maybe the doctor will change your pills if you continue to have a problem or make you some hormonal tests.
