AASU community stands for atheists, agnostics, skeptics, and unbelievers. AASU, which I came up, is a play off of the LGBT community. Okay to my point.
Which moral system is better the morals from a book, or the moral system that comes from reason and logic? Is it better to believe that lying is wrong because a book told you so, or because you do not like being lied to and do not want to do the same? Same question can be asked about theft and murder.

A moral system based on logic and reason is more flexible and thus more useful than one based on a written authority. It can maintain general principles while still being able to expand and adapt to changing circumstances. What it cannot do is readily marshal emotional intensity to bolster the doubts we may have about a particular decision. Logic, reason and a sense of responsibility make for some uneasy decisions and a sometimes painful level of understanding of your own responsibility in a matter that is entirely apart from any threat of a provoked Deity.

As humans, we do have conscious inbuilt in us, as we are created in God's image. Yes, we can discern what is wrong and what is right, we would not want to lie, coz we would not want to be lied to. But, not every1z conscious acts in the same manner! People lie, so they can escape, some kill and even reason their deeds and have a clear conscious. Many situations may arise in life, when one might have to lie, to move on and we can even justify. But if we have God's Moral standards in our mind and we know what is supposed to be wrong, is truly wrong, we can face life upright.
