Personailty promblems

I got a Question for anyone how knows or has this problem. What is personality disorder? Do people know when they change when they act different or people talk to another part of themselves who acts out or start to control the other part of their brain? Do they black out and stop to ask what happens or does all these things happen? I am just wondering if anyone knows let me know.

All cases of multiple personality disorder are different. Some people know their other personalities and others do not. Usually they learn about them through contact on the outside. Most people claim that when they switch personalities it is like they have blacked out becuase they do not remember how they got where they are. The movie Sybil is a great example of someone with multiple personality disorder if you ever wanted a visual of how a person like this is. I remember watching it for psychology class in high school.
