Chuck Norris was born today and he is now 70 years old. He is the main character of Texas ranger and in the series he is fair and fights criminals and if we were all like he is there would be no crimes. All good so far but than a couple of people started to post jokes about him because he never lost a battle and when he started moving everybody was falling to the ground. Here's one for you: Chuck Norris was once in a knife fight and knife lost:P Some jokes are hilarious other lame but how would you feel if the whole world was basically make fun of you? There where cases when people committed suicide just because someone was horrasing them. Do you agree that internet can have a huge impact on a person?

Hi slovenc1, Chuck Norris did not turn 70, 70 turned Chuck Norris The Internet can have a great impact on a persons life bot positively and negatively. In my opinion people control what they put up for the world to see, so they have a certain degree of responsibility and the consequences. Tay Zonday and the Star Wars kid spring to mind of Internet success, both good and bad depending on your point of view.

No the name is not game related. It was for a website project that did not get off the ground. It was going to be a horror entertainment site, with news, reviews and streaming movies. It might still launch one day if I find the time to continue working on it

It depends on the person how he react on the contents he read from the internet. Because almost everything is in the internet, we can almost see what we want like meeting new people, watching what we want, nurture our knowledge and be informed on the latest events on planet.

You're wright some people take things personally and are insulted, some don't care. And you can also be misled by information but the trick is to not believe everything so everyone has to judge what is wright or wrong or help full and less help full.

I heard a funny one on radio today: somebody said that Chuck Norris didn't turn 70; it was seventy who turned Chuck Norris. I think I wouldn't mind having and cashing in on Mr. Norris' fame or infamy. If the internet brought it on to him, then so what? I'm sure that as the world is laughing at him, he is laughing himself all the way to the bank.

The Internet can make a virtual nobody into a star pretty much over night. Or in the case of someone like Chuck Norris, a superstar into an absolute legend. The Internet has an unprecedented amount of exposure. There is pretty much instant access to everyone on the Internet. It is a good way for people to get their names and faces out there, at little cost to them. Or even without their direct input, someone can be looked at on the Internet. Of course, with everything else in life, there is a dark side to the Internet. A side that is pretty much ugly and can be rather disturbing at times. There are a lot of good people on the Internet but there are a lot of weirdos to be honest with you. Really not too different from real life come to think of it. Being under the constant watch of these people can be quite distressful. There are some people who are fans, then there are some people who are obsessive. The Internet has brought people of all types together, for better or for worse and that can have an affect on a person, once again for better or for worse. Hopefully not too bad, but there are some extreme cases.

I agree there are positive and negative sides of internet. Just like in school there can be 25 children that are ok but if 3 can still pick on other and make things worse. Why do those 3 behave differently and who can we blame for that is another story. All in all i think internet is still a good thing because those who want to know or find things out have a huge resource of information. Thanks for your comment!

I think the net like other forms of mass media tend to have their downsides, but its also up to the indivual as well. Most people can't disirn fact from fiction much anymore and it can cause a lot of problems. And, its all in how information is presented, and how that information is inturpted by the other users. Internet isn't souly responsible for people's downfalls, but it can be a huge impacting factor.

I agree with you and most of the time information is misleading or even false. It is true that that was also present in newspaper and still is but i think it's even worse on internet. Thank you for your comment, much appreciated, have a great day!
