Choosing Friends...

I definitely don't look at age when choosing my friends. I have friends who are my age, younger and older. The one thing they have in common is that they're good people...honest, fun to be around and dependable.

Age has nothing to do with anything. I have friends who are 10 years younger or 40 years older than me. I guess what I look for is that if they are fun to be with, cool people, nice, and caring. I like to choose friends who I want to have for a whole lifetime. My best friends have known me since early grade school and we're still great friends, no matter what.

i don't choose friends. i can be friends with anybody. somehow, some people choose friends like when sometimes i want to be friends with a girl, and then she doesn't feel like talking to me, when i know we would enjoy being together.

Since the last few years i have more or less become reclusive. I am now retired and stay at home all day since i can`t go out due to a severe disability because of which i am now permanently confined to a wheelchair existence.during my life time i made hundreds of friends but now hardly a handful remain Out of which i can call just a couple or so as true friends.I have never given a thought about which category or age group my friends belong.If my heart accepts them then i accept them.True friendship is unconditional only then can it prosper.

I prefer friends of the same age (+-2) of me because I can easily adopt. I can't easily get along and make friends with people older than me because I feel that I'm younger. I can't have the kind of attitude with the friends of the same age as me because I'm not comfortable of doing it.

mm..I like choose friends who make me comfortable being around them. who are able to give support when I was in a bad conditions. but I tend to choose friends who have lower age than me. I dunno, maybe by making friends with them, I can still be young as their age. LOL.

hi arunmails How do I choose my friends by how they c ome across to me as they usually approach me first and I l earn that so many times we hae a lot in common. Age is not the criterion for me but kindness, compassion, friendliness are and so I have friends in my off line life that are all ages. and here on mylot I have friends from all over the world, and I love it, and I am one of the elderly aged people too but I have friends of all ages, it does not matter to me the ag e, but who they are at heart.

hi arun most of time .. i dont choose anyone to be my friend .. just the time, place decides us to know each other and become friends so far so good .. but i have a habit of not maintaining my friends as i just dont bother to call them to wish birthdays or things like that

There is no one specific category that I choose my friends from. I have friends that fall into all of the categories that you've mentioned except for the elderly and that is only because of the fact that the friend that I had that fell into that category has passed away. Now, the reason that there isn't one specific category that I choose my friends from is because of the fact that I get something different from each category of friend and they also get something different from me depending on what category they fall into.

i don't choose who will be my friends, it just happens, when you have things in common, or you share the same interest. it may also happen that you have the opposite likes and compliment each other. but i don't like loud and noisy people. lols.

For me, age doesnt really matter, as long as we have the same interests. I dont really choose friends though, friends choose me :P But seriously, I've got friends all over the world.
