There is no doubt that China will rise a powerful country again in the future with its increasingly strong economic strength and political influence. However it may be meaningless to set that time in 2022 as the rise of China is historically inevitable but not related with certain year.

I'm a Chinese and I'm pretty sure that China will be powerful in the future. Through we Chinese were weak in the last centuries, but now, both the leaders and people are trying their best to make the country more strong. Everything will be possible as long as you work hard!

With the way China has progressed over the last several decades, and the fact that they are more technologically advanced than anywhere else in the world, I am not surprised in the slightest by this prediction. I was expecting this, especially with the rate China is growing.
