Jobs Bill to create more Government Jobs?

I just caught part of a news story about a MN Congressman saying that people should call their representatives to pass the job bill. It is needed to provide communities with needed critical public jobs. This is creating more problems for communities. By creating new government jobs with government money means that next year you will have to increase taxes to save the jobs or lay them off and create more unemployment.
To me it makes no sense to create government jobs to end unemployment because it only adds more to the budget.

I agree. What they should be focusing on is incentives for new and small business. Provide low interest business loans and offer tax breaks and not new taxes (healthcare).

They need to spend money on our infrastructure. That will obviously create jobs which will help to get the economy moving and we'll get some of the things we so desperately need - roads, bridges, power grids and improved public transportation.

Anytime a government job is created it takes away from the private sector jobs.
Since the government depends on the private sector for it's income via taxation, this would seem to be self defeating.
If the government truy wanted to create jobs, the best way would be to lower taxes and eliminate job killing regulations.... in short, the government needs to get out f the way of business.
