I didn't hear exactly what he said about Gabourey Sidibe BUT his comments have rippled to many media outlets criticizing him! I haven't seen Precious yet but I think despite her size I think she looked lovely! Though I know that's one of the worst things about being in the public eye every move you make is either criticized or praised... criticized moreso and under alot of pressure.
Do you think he had a right to rip on her looks despite his own physical flaws?

I have never been a fan of Howard Stern and hearing what he had to say about Gabby makes me dislike him even more.
You see, there are a lot of people in this country that are overweight and for the most part we are made to feel bad anyway (and yes I am admitting that I am an overweight woman). The ideal that we see in this country are woman that look unhealthy because they are so painfully thin.
You see, I personally think that we need to have more bigger women that are in show business so that the ideal won't be skewed as much as it is right now.

I think that most reasonable, thinking people know that Howard Stern is an ego-driven buffoon and if you spend one minute listening to his show, that's a minute wasted. He is a sensationalist, looking for reaction. He is also an insensitive pig (sorry, pigs!).

I don't listen to the show.... I had seen tidbits when they had it on late night tv and I was not impressed w/ their behavior.

I have not seen the movie myself yet either. But that is a shame that Howard Stern had to say something about her like that that was really rude, I think she looked lovely too. I do not think he had any right to say those awful things about her! I am sure people have talked about he is ugly but I don't recall any famous people saying it about him on national television, I wonder what he would think if they did?

I've never been a fan of Howard Stern.
Although I like some comedians who makes fun of people to be funny, I don't like others who cross the line just to get the laughs. Stern is one of them. Kathy Griffin is another. And I hate that a lot of people still patronize these j*rks, enabling them to continue what they're doing.
