well not literally. bananas are the most popular fruit all over the world. all season all year round you can have this fruit. since it is cheap that fruit is very popular in every home specially here in our home. my child loves to eat banana that my wife needs to keep a few from him for he can eat a lot. but since it is available year round it is a great source of energy, good for those who are watching their diets or just want to eat healthy. it also reduces the risk of heart attack and some certain cancer. bananas has B6 that can cure insomia, irratibility and weakness. good for babies too as you can give it to them as their first solid food for it is easy to digest. bananas are good also for cooking and baking. so are you going bananas? har har har

I think I am going bananas pretty much. I like that fruit too, but sadly, it isn't growing in our country. I buy it from the shop, but I wish I had them growing in my garden, so I could eat tons of them every day. Banana is definitely one of my favorite fruits. I like it because of great taste and because it's easy to peel and eat it.

is it expensive if it is imported? i mean here in our country it grows all year round so it is affordable. but since you said it does not grow where you are then is it still affordable? banana is one of the best fruit for you can eat it as it is or you can put it on salad or on almost anything you like to eat with. thanks a lot for the response

Well, I wouldn't say it's unaffordable, but banana costs like two or three times more, than an apple. Apples grow in our country, so they are local production or imported from the neighboring countries in winter. Comparing to the fruits that grow in our region, bananas can be quite expensive, but I still can afford them from time to time.

Indeed bananas have many uses and very tasty indeed. Besides Vitamin B6 it is also rich in potassium, but since the sugar content is rather high, we cannot eat a lot. I love to make it into banana milkshake and banana yogurt. There are various types of bananas on sale in my town. I prefer buying the longer bananas with thicker skins but my mother prefers those shorter bananas with thin skin which are difficult to peel. We always have disagreements so maybe you can say we are going bananas on bananas.

in our country there are a lot of different bananas as well. some you can eat it as is and some are used for cooking. i dont care much on what kind i love bananas. but my wife buys more of the smaller with thin skin for the bigger ones some people say are not appropriate on babies and toodlers. that is what we know. since we have a four year old son my wife buys the one with thin skin. thanks a lot for the response

I love peanut butter and banana mixed with a little milk sandwiches. You know you mix it all together and its all mushy. Well long time ago when my sister had only been married a couple years from a guy in Alabama, we went to my aunt's and she all kinds of sandwiches. Well, my sis went to get the both of them a sandwich and he was talking and talking, so she told him to open his mouth, a she put part of a peanut butter and banana squishy sandwich in his mouth.
She said later after they left, he said, 'I didn't want to say anything while we were there but what in the sh.. was squishy sh.. you put in my mouth over there?'

I was fond of bananas right from the childhood. I used to take as many bananas as I can.Few years ago, My wife and My eldest sister have told me to restrict eating of bananas to one or two. Since then knowingly or unknowingly I completely stopped eating bananas.I do not like to eat bananas since then. But by compulsion, seldom I may take half or one bananas.Among all bananas, the bananas from the hill area is tasty.

eating too much bananas can cause constipation maybe thats the reason why your wife and your eldest sister warned you to not eat too much. sometimes we really get the feeling of dullness when someone tells us to slow down specially with eating har har har. thanks a lot for the response

We nearly always have Bananas in the fruit bowl.
We eat one when we come back from running as they help replace potassium.
I like them sliced on breakfast and they are yummy if you slice one up on top of peanut butter on toast.
My mother used to make us Banana sandwiches when I was little and Bananas is a bowl of custard is gorgeous.

I eat bananas whenever they are available at home. I heard that dieters should feast on bananas because it is filling and easily digested

My kids love bananas too. I have to admit that I have never cooked them and I have no idea how to do it. I would imagine you would bake them. I have also heard that they taste good frozen and resemble the consistency of ice cream when they are eaten straight from the freezer.

in the philippines we have this banana we call Saba, that is more popular in cooking than eating it as is. some fry it with sugar, some boil it with sugar and eat it with ice and milk, and some put it in stews. i enjoy eating dairy queens banana flavored ice cream. thanks a lot for the response
