Hey mylotters, are you all ready with a little advice and encouragement for those who are younger and less experienced than you are? For me, yes because I believe , to reach our full potential we all need someone to look up and learn from.

well... sometimes you can't help but feel a little awkward in those kinds of situations.. but you see, "kids", sometimes blurts out good advices every now and then.. i was told before that sometimes younger less experienced people always see the situation as resolvable and ideal. So they usually tell their advices as if everything is possible... ^_^

Hello lienrose :) Whatever the age, or the experiences a person already has; I still appreciate advices given to me although at times I don't feel the need for it because it ALL means one thing: they care for me. :) So whether that person's younger than me, I really love hearing those advices because I know it's just their way to show they're concern on my situation. :) I usually receive advices from people younger than me, usually from my former students. I love listening to them because in some aspects although I used to be their teacher, they also have a lot of experiences than I do. So I appreciate all of them even if they come from my students which are four years younger than me :) Much like it's good to have a mentor, it's also a great feeling to have a younger person who cares for you so much that he just wants the best for you according to his perspective. :)

I don't care how old or yong the person is that is advising me, I would appreciate their input if I respected them as a person and I felt they knew me well enough. I think there is a bit of a fine line when it comes to giving advice; it could be considered that you are just sticking your nose in where it's not wanted. I only give advice if I'm asked for it, and the only person who ever asks me is my husband, my younger sister and my oldest daughter.
