Is anyone following the Iditarod this year? The Iditarod is the biggest sled dog race in Alaska and beyond. I have the fortune of being here in Alaska for it and always am there for the start. This year we had the opportunity to have Lance Mackey sign some dog booties for us and my 6year old son was tickled pink to get a high five from Lance as he passed by. What an amazing race of endurance both for the mushers and those tough as nails dogs! Go sled dogs go! the ak man

I am sure jealous of those of you in SUNNY CA! I don't think the Iditarod is very popular. Dog Mushing isn't exactly a national sport. I agree on the endurance. I know that I would not last long. Sorry for the late reply! the ak man Go Lance Mackey Go!
