I have over last year or two I have been getting my kids in to growing things in the garden. Now its spring here in uk we have planted onions, butternut squash, sun flowers, red peppers, tomatoes, potatoes and we have a lemon tree in the conservatory what if anything are you planning on growing this year even if its in a confined area.

i notice that gardening is an exciting activity, especially do it with our family but i'm too lazy to do that. My mom likes gardening. she's used to doing it alone. poor mom!! hehe...

Last year we done a vegtable patch for the children and they loved it,but sadly this year they only have a large tub each which they are going to grow flowers in as we have more chickens being hatched out this year and they need the space. The children wanted the chicks so we agreed that they could look after a few of their own aswell as grow a large tub of flowers for themselves aswell.

cool think its always good to grow things in the garden or even in a bucket if space is limited. I do it as the kids love it, but the food tastes so much better if you grow it yourself.
