Your spirit creates the mind and body. You can create things. Your spirit may not pass away but your mind will pass away, your mind manifests thoughts to things.
You cannot create things other then yourself with your spirit, you must have a mind to do it. The body is to support the mind, the mind is full of intelligence. Thus your spirit is full of eternal powers.
So think it as this: You make your own "Game" and the "Producer" is god. Your studio is your mind and your "workers" are your body. The spirit is made by the producer to finalize the game.
You can be a rich man or a poor man, it's your choice. But when you die your spirit will be forever in the land of fortune.

The body we have is what we were given at birth and all kind of things can happen both good and bad. We have some control at times and at times not too much.
The mind we have depends much on our early life experiences, the kind of parents and family that we had, the education we received.
We all have spirit. No one can be alive without it. But it is just a force like electricity. No personality. No future. Unless, God who is the source of the spirit gives the person another body.
That is my take! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Not just a Spirit but also we have a Soul, The Spirit is like your body, you're soul use your body to interact with the physical world, the same way God gaves you a spirit to comunicate with the Holy Spirit, bible says that that line of comunication is broken when you sin, somehow the spirit you have is still used to comunicate to other spirits, that's what the magical does, but they're not talking with God, the only way your spirit can restart is being forgiven.
And that is why God sent his only son to die as a sacrifice for our sins, the people just have to pray and acept the Son, Jesuscrist, and then you can receive the Holy Spirit again, that's a promise of God.

Hi ChrisEven! Thanks for responding. I think many misunderstand what is the soul.
Genesis 2:7 (King James Version) 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
1) God made the body
2) God breathed into the body the breath of life
3) Then man became a living soul
My conclusion is that we are a soul and not have a soul
Notice how another translation translates this same verse.
Genesis 2:7 (New International Version) 7 the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
What is your understanding of Genesis 2:7?

I like your analogy.
But for me, to make it simple...our spirit is actually the one that makes up our conscience...telling us in our guts that what we're doing is wrong or right.
Because we are created to make our own judgment, our spirit guides us to the "supposed to be" right path.

If when we die our spirits will be in the land of fortune, then why in the world our spirits chose to live in this world?
I guess being in just one extreme side forever is not a good thing. Nature favors balance and I believe our pure souls too.

Very inspiring post, i like his type of post!
I hardly believe on the power of the mind and in the law of attraction: we attract what we think. It is why we must delete all negative thought and always try to thing positively (think to our goal, think that we have already fin a solution to a problem, ect).
It is what i do everytime, i always visualize what i want.
Little story: i had a financial problem since 5 months and had no jobs at all. So i started to visualize what i want (money the quickest possible), i visualize that i have already pay my debt and visualize how i would feel if i had no financial problems.
Now, i have find a job since 2 months and i have receive some donations, all situations comes out in a perfect harmony like magic (but i didn't do nothing for that, we must also do actions, money won't fall from the sky) and now, i don't have any problems (financially). ^^
So always visualize!
