Buying Groceries On Line

We used to have this here too. Not sure if its still available but I was afraid the food wouldnt be fresh. There was also the problem of being home when they deliver it. I thought Id try it again when Im taking a week off work and see how it goes. If ever you try it, let me know how it went for you!

i am not sure if i would want to get my groceries this way because like you, i would have the same concerns regarding freshness etc. i guess if i was a shut in or whatnot, this would be good but i would rather get out and get my own.

I wish my local supermarket offered online shopping. I would do it in a heart beat.

That's sound great for you. But my local supermarket have yet to offer such service and allow me to share my opinion about this service. No doubt it seems convenient, but the stuffs that you paid for, you can't look or feel, you will only see it after payment has been made and I don't think they would be able to please everyone with their stuffs especially fresh items varies in condition as well due to a lot of factors. And also, I believe you are also concern about the expiry date right? Which is kinda hard to predict since you don't know whether do they sent you fresh stocks or the old ones. Thus, no doubt it's a good alternative for people who might not have the accessibility to the local supermarket, they have to assure customers that their quality will conform to some standards for customers to feel assured to purchase online. Buying groceries online is very common here in England, especially in the rural areas. I live in a small village with only one shop but I work in a city. When I'm at work it's easy to pop to supermarket during my lunch hour or after work. When I'm on holiday I order my groceries online from the supermarket. I've never had any trouble with quality. The fruit and veg is always as fresh as that in-store. Very occasionally they don't have something I have ordered. If this happens, they send a replacement item which you can either accept or reject. I find it very useful.

Ive never done it but i sounds like its worth a try,. I mean if one day your runnign behind might as well so that and save yourself the trouble. Orif you have a humongous order or need to buy in bulk its probally good for that to. Id definaly check the freshness of the products that will be delivered to you and any extra costs - these might alter your decision on using this service. On another note I wouldnt use it all the time. The grocery store is getting out of the house and with such a technology based society nowadays we never get out for simple things anymore (or at least as much) and its a great way to see people and interact on a daily level.

I don't have any grocery stores nearby that do that. But my sister's grocery store offers the option to buy online. She chooses to pick it up herself. She just pulls up to the store at the designated area, and they come out and put all the grocery bags in her car. She does this all the time, and has always told me how pleased she was with the service and the products.

I have used a grocery shop on line and been very pleased. When I was housebound towards the end of last year and unable to go shopping, I signed up for home delivery and was very happy with the quality of the produce delivered. Always on time, always fresh and I have no complaints at all
