Now I think this may not or maybe be a strong topic/ Discussion today but in the future it will be a real strong topic.
Yes it seems like Gas/ Oil are whats it up there today, If you notice we are trying to make things save energy. For Example, latops, Tv's, Cell Phones, Routers, DVD's, Game Systems, and etc all are starting to have Energy Star on them. Symbolizing that they save energy.
Now when they first came up with LCD for TV's now there LED for cell phones, even my laptop is LED. save 40% more energy then a LCD. IM planning to buy a LED TV.
I think in the future there will no longer be gas stations in the United States, there will either be Electric Stations or Air Stations. Now there are vehicles power by air.
Gas will be a thing in the pass. In the 2030's I will be in my upper 30's coming into my 40's
So I will see this day come haha.. but can't wait to. haha..
But you tell me..?
DO YOU THINK IN THE FUTURE OiL/GaS Will No LONGER BE NEEDED IN THE UNITED STATES?
If (NO answer why) If Yes then Answer when

well to me eventually there will run out of oil and we as people depend on it too much. So thats why they are creating technology to make things Energy saving and less oil needs to be use. Why you think there trying to make cars that got far with less amount of Gas. So only time will tell and I'm waiting.

I am not sure if the fossil fuels would be absolutely obsolete by that time, but I am sure there would be lots of alternative energy sources in use. Even now there are developments being made towards the electricity and hydrogen powered means of transport. Research on biofuels is being conducted. Looking back at our technological progress during the last few decades I would say that it's not impossible to change our current sources of energy for alternative ones by the year 2030.

Do you really think so, If you think about it in time yes there will probably still be things that are power with oil, I think there is going to be a big change believe me I think technology will advance to a high performance. Some things will be indescribable.

It is possible that things could be like this, but only if the newer ways catch on and more people are allowed to drive and create cars and such out of this to where people can also afford one of them as well. The problem with the Hybrid cars as it is, even though a lot of them are Electric for the most part and really save on gas, they can be expensive to where the average person cannot really afford the payments on one of these as well.

Well yes, If people can afford Gas cars right now then they can get Electric Cars as well. THats the reason why I said the 2030's which is 20 years from now. thats a long time so that time period should be enough time for people to develop the sense of Electric cars people have cars like that right now. to me by the time 2030's come people will have cars like these Most I think so maybe the people that can't afford it might not have them or people that choose to not have them.

Anythinhg is possible in the future! Now there are many new stuffs which we couldn't image many years ago, just like computer or cell phone! In addition, few years ago, when we wanted to buy something,we must use cash,it is not convinent, but now the coming of credit card make our shopping and life more convinent and easier! So we can dare to image anything, anything is possible in this society when technology is developing in an extremely rapid speed!
