How would it change your life if you have no nails? i mean fingernails and toenails. How will affect your everyday activities? How about your work, will it be affected? For me, i have a part time job as a cellphone technician and my nails help much to prop open cellphone cases easily so i could get to the motherboard of the cellphone easily and solve the problem or diagnose the defect.

lol i guess i could do better without them well it bugs me when i have long finger nails and i have to play the guitar, for playing it we need to them clipped off always and sometimes i run into my friend's guitar i have to clip them again, nonetheless i had problems earlier but i don't know why but i am better now, i mean i don't necessarily need to clip them if they are moderately long, it used to hurt a little earlier but now we have an agreement. well i don't know how other's would react if we didn't have growing nails but yeah certainly an issue if he were left and not bothered about having to clip them off regularly, i guess for lazy people like me.

hi again :) yeah finger nails could be used for plucking, but then i guess it would look funny if we had nails longer in one hand compared to other. anyways... thanks for the best response friend. ..

owh, you play guitar too huh? well it's really bothering to pluck your strings and your nails sometimes gets stuck with the strings eh? it's a hassle specially when your already on a gig. or the fretboard gets damaged when you play with long fingernails. i always tell my friends to clip their nails before playing my guitar. my old guitar now has frets with the wood dug by nails already. but sometimes, i use my nails to pick the strings.

Oh yes, it would affect my habits in a really great manner! I have the dubious habit of biting my nails - WELL NOT MY TOENAILS! So, if my fingernails went missing, I cannot have anything to bite! But, I really think that nails are in a way important - for example like in your case!

I think that life would be much tougher without nails. I don't use them at school for any special purpose, but sometimes I encounter the situations when I need to open something (for example just like you, I need to remove the back of the cell phone or something). Nails are also useful for picking up very small objects or just scratching yourself. I couldn't imagine my hands without nails.

hell0! I am a guy and I really don't care about my finger and toenails, because I just cut them when they grow fast and don't make any special procedures for them :) well, It will also not affect my study if I don't have any fingernails, because I don't use them for nothing. well, sometimes, when I need to catch something that small, that I could catch it only with fingernails, I think I would miss them, but in all other cases- i don't need them

Not having nails might make your everyday life a little easier...you wouldn't have to clip, manicure, paint, etc. your nails if you didn't have any. My nails are so weak and break so easily, they're not good for opening too many things. They do come in handy for scratching though. Even toenails, you can scratch your legs with your toenails without having to bend over :}

owh, it's a cut off the manicure and pedicure job huh? yeah, it fells good to feel of the nails in the part where you itch or is bitten by a bug? i even scratch the skin so much that it gets the outer skin out. the itch is gone but the skin is reddish already and it fells another pain not the itch.

That is very very true. When I seen this I was thinking what would it matter. Then I thought about it a little more and you do need nails for alot of stuff. Like peeling stuff off, and so much more stuff. I dont think I would like to live without fingernails it would be kinda hard to.
