New Addition To The Family =)

Remember? I got Asia from the humane society last year. She turned one year old last March 11, 2010. =)
Last February, we went to another humane society. My husband feel in love with a calico cat, but I fell in love with a tuxedo kitty, which I have always wanted to have. When it was time for us to leave the shelter, with the calico one, just as soon as I looked back, the tuxedo kitty looked back at me, as well. =(
My heart broke when that moment, so I did not get out of that shelter without the tuxedo kitty. $69 for the calico and I got the tuxedo for a $1 =)
I want to share her picture with you, guys. I will also share the calico's picture on the first response. Am so happy with my two new "babies" =)

precious. I have two tuxedo kitties. Carlye I got from my vet 2 years ago and Freddie is my new furbaby. He was an unexpected Christmas present. Someone declawed him (all four paws) and dumped him at my brother's house in Arkansas. When I visited at Christmas they convinced me to bring him home to California with me as I am the only family member with indoor cats. He is camped out on my lap right now. He is such a lovable cat. We suspect he is about a year old.

Very cute. My parents just got a calico that they call Molly. I don't have a picture of her. My cats prefer the bathtub to the sink but only when there is no water in it. I cannot phantom why? Here is a pic of my other bicolor Carlye. Ashley my third cat who is a dilute tortie is my avatar. I have a lovely cat family who keeps me in check.

wow! Tiki is a beauty, you can post her picture on the Kitler site with her cute little half mustache!
And Cookie is also a beauty - I re-named Booboo's sister, Cookie from Kit'N. She was a calico too. She was also quite pretty, but I don't have any shots of her.

Well done for going to the humane society for your cats, so many people don't bother. I adore my Moomin, I am honoured that his picture is featured on the CATS discussion picture. Moomin adopted me and he's an absolute joy to have.

You're tuxedo kitty reminds me of my very first kitty I got when I was only five years old...named her Babette--here's a picture of me, guess I was about 8 or 9 then and with Babette. I've had other tuxedo kitties too in the past
Your tuxedo kitty knew a "sucker" LOL..mean that in a good way...by the way she was looking at you as you were leaving, I bet in a way she was saying "Aren't you going to take me?"

I know, pye. I was heartbroken when I saw her looking back at me.
We visited the shelter just to check for a new litters, husband fell in love with the calico that I named Cookie after the adoption. But, they were not yet spayed, so we have to wait for another 2 days. That first day that we went at the shelter, I saw this loud and beautiful tuxedo cat, and I told my husband if we can also take the tuxedo one, but he was a little skeptical to say yes. So, I talked to the tuxedo and told her that I will come back for her and I won't leave her there. I said, I will take her home with us. =)
And so, when we came back to pick the calico up, that's it! The tuxedo kitty looked back at me when we started walking out the door. I got teary eyed when I saw her sadness.. of course, husband can't stand to see me crying, ehehe... We took the tuxedo home =) and named her Tiki. =)

Cute Cats! I like your cats! ^^. So that is why he is called tuxedo. He should have a bow tie with him. I just had a cat like him but he was taken away by my cousin because they liked him.. I wonder how he is doing now. Anyways Love your Cats!!

I'm glad you got the cat that you wanted. Remminds me of when my mom went to the shelter in search of a spsific cat. This other cat really liked me and kept trying to get my attention. I open my mouth, tell my dad, who insisted that we buy both cats. Both.... I was floored and I was glad that we saved two lives. I'm glad it worked out for you.

Wow chow cute.. they looks lovely. Nice to hear that it looked back. Pets are like our real babies. I have 3 months old champ pup. Its so naughty and always fight to sleep on my lap. Champ always wants to play with him, else he will not allow to do our work, so pampering..haha!

They look very cute in the picture! I have two Mackerels, each one is 3 years old. I wake up every day only to find them lying on my bed or just sitting there waiting for me to wake up.
By the way, what's up with the cat's eyes in the picture lol?
