pacman secret route???

When I played when I was young, I heard that there was a special route you can take during each level so that you can always avoid the color blogs, and ultimately win every level. Is it true? Has anyone else heard of this? And where could I find it?

Its not true.
I have heard the same story where the pattern of the ghosts was predictable to a point, and if you knew the pattern you could modify your game accordingly, considering basic (compared to now) programming it makes sense.
Theres a couple of tricks if you stop in the corner immediately above and right and where you start with no ghosts closely following no ghost will come near (apparantly old pros used to use this trick to go to the bathroom), the other one is if you being chased turn into either of the passages above the ghost pen you wont be followed. Theres also rumours of bugs which when abused allow you to pass through ghosts.
