Are you realistic or optimistic?

I honestly am a realistic person. I would believe on bitter truths instead of hanging onto something unimaginable. How do you describe your perspective as a person? Are you realistic or optimistic? Why?

I'm a realistic person...I don't like t fantasize or dreams about some impossible things. I only believe in the things that I think I have the most possible chances to reach or get. I can't simply stay hopeful when things become dark or near destruction i would likely to accept the negative first rather than wait for the positive thing to happen. I knew that life here on earth is unjust and unfair. That is why I'm trying to accept things the way they originally are. It's no used dreaming and to wake up in a sad reality and get hurt and disappointed over and over again.

I think I am rather realistic. I'd be happy if something I really desire would be true but if it isn't possible, I know the limits.

I am a person that hopes things will get better but already faced the reality of life. Because life is unpredictable, things can go the way we don't expect. And that gives me room to hope.

I tend to analyze the life in realistic way. It means I see the potential risks and dangers and don't neglect them. However, I am also a partially optimistic person, because despite all the problems and failures I still look forward to happy and positive future and hope for best.

I am more optimistic than realistic but i always imagine optimistic situations on a realistic way, so i'm both. ^^ I'm a big dreamer thought, i love imagining fantastic and unrealizable movies, but it is just for relaxing me.

hell0 me to! I always try to be a realist because I know that optimism will not help me that much as the realism will help me, because in this cruel world we must be realistic and never hope that something good will happen to us, if we just sit down at home and waiting for it. we must work hard and face the ugly truth, the hard real world!

I am a complete opposite. It is in my personality to be optimistic and idealistic. I see the big, beautiful picture even when it can often be seen as irrational or unrealistic by other people. I am the type who always daydreams and fantasizes. And I am happy with it.

Mostly I'm optimistic. But I'm not really that impractical at all. I find it easy to be really hopeful about things but I do take into account other factors that might affect something's outcome. For example when the going gets tough I'd believe there would always be a silver lining in the cloud but I'd assess all the factors so I'd know where to find that silver lining rather than wait and let the situation ride.

We are the same, I am a realistic person. For me a realistic person can be optimistic. Optimistic in a way that you still see life in a positive side. You can accept life's reality however you deal with it in a positive way.
