How do you usually do your makeup?

When I go out in public, I don't like having simple this-is-what-everybody-does makeup. I wear bright colors and sometimes I'll make it pretty dramatic. Sometimes I'll even do it rainbow. I'm just one of those people that can't stand reagular simple stuff, it gets boring. Why not make a statement? Show people how you're really feeling or what you're really into. When you go out, how do you usually do your makeup?

I used to wear really bright makeup all of the time as well, but now that I'm getting older wearing bright or dark colors just makes my face look really old. Now I stick with earth tones and more natural colors and styles if I'm going OUT out, but if I just go out to the library or grocery shopping I will settle for foundation, eyeliner and mascara. Enjoy wearing those bright colors while you still can. Please don't become the old woman in the fur coat wearing blue and lime green eyeshadow with 50 facial piercings that pushed me out of the way in the Hard Candy section at Wal-Mart!

That would never be me! I hate wearing fuzzy furry things and I know when a color doesn't look good on me, when I'm older I'm not gonna be a freak. Nor will I push people in Wal-Mart xD

Hahaha okay good. I was so shocked when I saw this person. I love tattoos and used to have a few facial piercings when I was younger, but she was at least 56 years old, and I was VERY afraid. If memory serves I think she may have been wearing track pants with all of this. My first thought was, why is Nana buying Hard Candy pre-made rub on eyeshadow... Then I noticed everything else about her and I practically ran away from there. Not that I make fun of other people in public, but there are LINES that should never be crossed. If my Grandmother was dressed like that we would have to have a serious talk. (It's funny because she's had similar talks with me in the past.) There are a lot of cool groups on Myspace where people post pictures of what they've done with their makeup as well as some pretty cool tutorials. Are you in any of them? I used to be!

It depends on my mood and how much time I have. If I have a minimal amount of time I may just swipe on some powder, blush, and mascara. If I have more time then I'll either go with a silvery-gray eyeshadow palette, or I'll choose a color that coordinates with what I'm wearing. Like you, I like wearing some obnoxious colors. When I go for the obnoxious colors I go with Urban Decay's Primer Potion, and Urban Decay eye shadow. Urban Decay shadow has some really crazy colors, with gnarly names to go along with them. They blend really nicely, and the Primer Potion helps them to be more vibrant and stay on longer. Since I'm fair, I go with a colored lip balm that has a little bit of shine to it, or just plain old chapstick. Super sticky and shiny lip gloss isn't my thing...and lip stick just feels weird to me.

Oh... This is surprised me. I thought shiny lip gloss looked great with really fair people. Shiny stuff on my lips don't go well with me. I usually look for a matte look in everything as I don't really like shine or sparkles or anything of the sort. They reflect too much light on pictures too and doesn't look natural.

I only weak make up that looks natural but makes me look prettier. I just accentuate my face's best features and that's it. I'm afraid to put eye shadows because I have single eyelids and I'm afraid that if I put eye shadow, it will just be a disaster.

I don't wear much makeup, if any at all. Normally I just get up at the last minute, bathe, then get to class, so I don't have much time to put on makeup. When I do I tend to just put on foundation, eyeliner, and mascara. Maybe lip gloss. When I get really dressy I'll wear red lipstick.... it's a very bold color. I like it a lot. I don't wear eyeshadow too much. Sometimes, if I'm bored, I'll play with color at Sephora. Besides that, I don't do much.

How old are you amberdinoface? i usually wear very light make up and going bright is never a favourite. my sister likes to play with make up so she sometimes wear them bright and gothic...korean style make up is my favourite because its natural and fresh. But i guess being young you must be more adventurous with make up. Happy mylotting...

During the daytime, I prefer to go natural and quite subtle in order to enhance my nature-given assets. I've found that people (especially men) are attracted to naturally glowing skin so I try to give off that kind of look as much as possible. However, when it's nighttime, I prefer to go dramatic. I go by a rule: Emphasize only one feature while keeping the others pretty much neutral. That way, I can go off experiment as much as I want and still look professionally done; not like a clown.

Well as for me, it depends on my mood. If I feel like to be natural, I wear natural looking make up. And if I feel like I want to stand out the crowd, I wear make up that is not too obvious but still it is eye-catching.

I do really like to look other woman have a make up on their face, every time I go out I just draw only my eyebrows or put an eye liner and that's it. But sometimes if I'm goin to attend a party or goin out with my hubby I put a really light make up only. I just empress only other girl having a make up. I think it depends to the person or personality only what the really like!
