How often do you get a haircut?

I just got my hair cut the other day. The stylist asked when was the last time I had a cut. I mentioned it was a few months ago and that I don't have a timetable for my haircuts. I just go when my hair is bugging my eyes. Maybe I'm different but how often do you get a haircut?

I don't often go to the parlor for a haircut. I usually go when I'm fed up with my current hair do or my hair has gone really long just to avoid split ends. Cutting my hair really depends on my mood. I don't cut my hair on my own if I don't want to end up in a disastrous hairdo.

Sometimes, just before summertime, I like to shave my head. But I see the day when I won't need a cut as I can see the first signs of hair loss, which is depressing. Then again, I rather be like Agassi and shave it all off at the first sign of hair loss than having to do the comb over.

I think that is a better option than to have the comb over because when you do that the hair loss becomes more obvious. I agree, Agassi looked good with his shaved hair, but when he was younger he used to sport long hair.

I like wearing my hair long, so it's not often I get a haircut. Like you, I don't have a schedule when to cut my hair, it depends when I feel like it or if it's time to change my hairstyle. I have about 3-4 haircuts in a year.

Thank you for your response. Re hair stylists, how loyal are you to them? Do you always go to them or do you switch hair stylists fairly often? For myself, there are so many hair cut salons out there that I like to try them all.

Well, since this new salon opened in my town, I loved the haircut given to me by a certain stylist, so he's the one I've been requesting ever since. He already knows the type of my hair and knows and understand what I like. I think it's beneficial for us to have a trusted stylist, so the end results would satisfy both of you.

You don't need to regularly get a haircut, just whenever you feel like it. I only get haircut whenever I feel like my hair is getting boring, just to add some life to it.

I just got a haircut today. I actually went back to the same stylist as last time. That must mean my last haircut was 5 months ago. That seems kind of long.

I used to get it trimmed every three months, but lately because money has been so tight that I have not been able to do this. I am trying to let my hair grow as long as I can before I get it cut again. My last haircut was in January and now it is already June. I am hoping that I can wait until next year, but I am sure that my hair will need to be cut before then. Getting my haircut costs 14.00 each time I get it done and it adds up. My husband goes every 3 months to get his cut and because he is working he has to get it cut because his employer hates long hair on men.
